2020 Companies is seeking an immediate full-time District Merchandising Manager representing our Fortune 500 clients.
ABOUT THE JOB
Under the Regional Merchandising Manager (RMM), the District Merchandising Manager (DMM) will be managing a team of merchandisers working within the largest local retailers. As a DMM, dependability and attention to detail is imperative, as you will travel throughout a Market/District to ensure plan-o-gram compliance, proper signage, appropriate stock, gathering business insights, and building relationships with the retailers. The DMM role is critical to the overall success of the program, providing coaching and mentorship to their merchandising team.

motivate, direct and coordinate activities of team members to meet and/or exceed sales/merchandising goals and objectives
accountable for team members and all documents pertaining to team productivity
the role of a FMR during absences, vacations, when short staffed or as needed
to accurately track head count, kiosk revenue and changes
provide daily direction, training, and guidance while ensuring retention of superior FMRs
all sales meetings; make daily schedule for teams
determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, develop, and manage new employees
meetings and conference calls as required
adherence to all company policies and procedures
and document all counsellings and terminations appropriately, accurately and in a timely manner while following established procedures
retail merchandising tasks as scheduled
stores/tasks in efficient/cost effective manner
reports completed retail tasks via designated systems on the day the work is performed
effectively with store personnel regarding tasks, activities, promotions, and objectives
required training and certification programs
a digital camera and the ability to take photos, resize them and upload as required
to implement retail schematics and merchandising materials as assigned
to participate in team scheduled tasks and clients work-withs
in temporarily overseeing additional stores/kiosks as business needs dictate
and act professionally at all times
